StartNest is a coworking space for technology focused businesses and freelancers in Sydney’s North Shore.

StartNest is more than just a shared office. As a passionate community StartNest gives members access to continuous mentoring, high level business education and a vast network of supporting partners and investors.

StartNest is here to make your company fly providing a fun, friendly and collaborative workspace where entrepreneurs and freelancers can join in our community.

Full Time

$450 / mth (ex GST)

  • 7 days per week
  • 24 hr access
  • As a full member, you have your own desk and 24h access to the office.

Part Time

$250 / mth (ex GST)

  • 3 days per week
  • 8:30am – 5:30pm access
  • You can use a flexible desk three times a week within our office hours.

Casual

$20 / mth (ex GST)

  • 5 & 10 day passes ($200/$380)
  • 8:30am – 5:30pm access
  • Become a casual member to get our day passes at a great discount.

Single Day Pass

$50 / day (ex GST)

  • Visit for one day
  • 8:30am – 5:30pm access
  • With our day pass, you can work on one of our flexible desks for day.

Co-working. What’s in for me?

The concept of co-working has several dimensions of additional value for all co-workers. The most important aspects are Connectivity, Inspiration, Motivation and Productivity. If you want to find out more about how you could profit from StartNest, check our blog post about the success of co-working.

Can everybody become a member of the StartNest community?

No. Our community consists of tech focused startups and freelancers. If you are unsure whether you fit in or not, there is no better way to find out than contacting us. We are looking forward to hearing from you!

What other benefits do you offer your members?

Additionally to continuous mentoring, workshops and access to investors and partners, there are community lunches, after-work beers on Fridays and free or discounted entry to workshops held at StartNest. Also StartNest can be used as mailing address.

Do I have to pay an additional fee to use the meeting rooms?

No, use of the meeting rooms is free for our members. You can book the rooms online in advance. We have two meeting rooms and a training room available.

How fast is the internet?

We have a Bonded DSL service (2 DSL links put together, 40mps down)

What kitchen facilities do you have?

We have a kitchen with a sink, microwave and a big fridge. Also a coffee machine is available.

What events and workshops do you offer?

Every two weeks, we host meetups with well-known entrepreneurs at StartNest. Additionally, workshops covering important topics like pitching, government funding, growth strategy or social marketing are offered to our members.

Can I bring business partners to the office?

Yes. You can meet your business partners or clients in the meeting rooms.

Can I leave my own screen on the desk?

Only if you are a full-time member, you can leave your screen on your permanent desk. Since you do not have a designated desk as non fulltime member, it is not possible to leave your stuff at the end of a working day.

How does the 24/7 access work?

We have swiping cards for our full time members. You can enter the office whenever you feel like working.

What does the $20 casual membership include?

As a casual member, you enjoy all our perks excluding a desk or the usage of meeting rooms. If you want to use a desk or a meeting room, you can buy a single day pass. 5 or 10 day passes are available at a big discount and can be redeemed in a 3-month-period.
